About this Product
The ELECFREAKS Classroom Smart Home Kit is an interactive STEM learning kit designed to help primary and secondary school students explore smart home technology and automation logic using the BBC micro:bit. Built around the IOT:bit expansion board, the kit includes a versatile set of electronic modules—such as a noise sensor, light sensor, crash (touch) sensor, 180° servo motor, Octopus RGB rainbow LED, and an OLED display. Students can build practical real-world scenarios, including a smart voice-activated night light (which detects ambient noise under low light levels) and a wireless remote door opener system. When paired with the optional Smart Home Material Pack (wooden house structure), it creates an engaging diorama model for classroom learning and coding experiments.
