The ELECFREAKS Jacdac Smart Exploration Kit is an innovative, plug-and-play educational kit designed around the BBC micro:bit V2 and Microsoft Jacdac technology stack. Jacdac abstracts away complex electronic wiring by utilizing reversible, fool-proof cable connections and automatic hardware discovery, allowing sensors and actuators to be instantly recognized as soon as they are plugged in. The kit provides a selection of modular Jacdac components, including button sensors, light sensors, human infrared (PIR) sensors, magnetic sensors, knob encoders, and an 8-LED RGB light ring. It seamlessly integrates with Microsoft MakeCode, offering real-time data feedback directly within the simulator workspace. Accompanied by 10 beginner-friendly tutorials, it enables primary and middle school students to effortlessly construct smart devices, interactive nightlights, motion alarms, and IoT projects without connection errors.
