The ELECFREAKS micro:bit Smart Life Kit is an educational hands-on kit designed to help primary and middle school students build intelligent, automated home and environmental control applications. Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the kit bridges technology and everyday life through practical STEM projects. Centered around the powerful, compact Wukong Expansion Board (which features an onboard 400mAh rechargeable lithium battery and fast-charging power management), the kit includes 13 electronic sensors and actuators. These include a 3V water pump, relay module, MQ2 gas/smoke sensor, DHT11 temperature/humidity sensor, ultrasonic Sonar:bit, OLED screen, fan module, and collision sensor. Students can create interactive projects like touchless washbasins, smart lighting, automated water level monitors, touchless trash cans, and smart medicine boxes using MakeCode drag-and-drop block coding and Python.
