About this Product
The ELECFREAKS micro:bit Smart Science IoT Kit is an educational IoT and environmental data collection platform designed based on the IOT:bit breakout board. It provides a complete end-to-end framework covering the three fundamental layers of the Internet of Things: the Perception layer (sensors), the Network layer (Wi-Fi transmission), and the Application layer (cloud platforms). The kit includes a diverse range of Octopus science sensors, allowing students to monitor air quality (dust sensor), ambient temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure (BME280 sensor), environmental noise, light intensity, soil moisture, water levels, and ultrasonic distance (Sonar:bit). Equipped with an onboard ESP8266 Wi-Fi module and a Real-Time Clock (RTC) chip, the system enables continuous telemetry logging and data visualization to cloud servers such as Thingspeak, KidsIoT, HiveMQ, and IFTTT email triggers using Microsoft MakeCode and MicroPython.
