We are honoured to share that the Ghana National Association of Private Schools (GNAPS) has recognised Ideotronix with a plaque of appreciation from its 30th Annual General Conference, held in Ho from 25 to 29 August 2025.
The plaque thanks Ideotronix for supporting the successful organisation of the conference and for digital products that grow private schools. For a team whose mission is to bring practical STEM education to every Ghanaian classroom, recognition from the association that represents private schools across the country means a great deal.
About GNAPS and its Annual General Conference
GNAPS is the national body for private schools in Ghana, guided by its motto, "The Welfare of the Child is Supreme." Its Annual General Conference brings together school owners, heads and education stakeholders to discuss the direction of private education and the tools and partnerships that help schools serve their pupils better.
Private schools educate a large share of Ghana's children, and many of them are looking for affordable ways to prepare pupils for a world shaped by technology. That is exactly the conversation we came to the conference to have.
What we shared with private schools
At the conference we introduced school owners to a complete STEM programme that runs inside the school without adding to the school's budget or staff workload. The partnership includes:
- Weekly hands-on STEM classes in robotics, coding, IoT, electronics and artificial intelligence for pupils from Primary 2 to JHS 2.
- Trained Ideotronix instructors who work with the school, so there is no hiring and no curriculum writing for the school to do.
- Every kit, tool and material supplied, maintained and replaced by Ideotronix.
- A professional school website to showcase programmes, activities and admissions.
- An AI-powered school management platform covering Mobile Money fee collection, SMS reminders to parents, attendance, HR, accounting, payroll and terminal reports.
- An AI teaching assistant that prepares lesson notes, quizzes and exam questions in minutes.
- Competition preparation, so pupils can represent their school in national and international STEM and robotics competitions.
These are the "digital products that grow private schools" the plaque refers to. Read more about how the model works in our guide to running a STEM programme in a private school.
Why this recognition matters
- For schools: it is an endorsement from the body that represents private schools, and a signal that practical STEM is becoming part of what parents expect.
- For pupils: it brings more children closer to building real projects with robots, sensors and code instead of only reading about technology.
- For us: it strengthens our commitment to work alongside GNAPS and its member schools in building Ghana's future workforce through practical STEM education.
What comes next
We will keep working with private schools across Ghana to set up STEM programmes, equip school STEM labs, train teachers and prepare pupils for robotics and STEM competitions. Thank you to the GNAPS national executives, the conference planning committee and every school owner who visited us in Ho.
